I’m not a big shopper. And when you talk about shopping for something like, say, underwear … ugh. Well, saving money is a lot like buying underwear, you don’t necessarily enjoy doing it, but it’s one of those things in life you need to do just the same, many times out of necessity.

Talk about holiday cheer!

Do you ever pick the brain of a person a generation or two ahead of you? I had a professor back in school who said senior citizens are like libraries, vessels of endless information just waiting to be tapped. I find this to be very true.

I’m an optimist, but sometimes digging for the positive side wears me out. This economy, it’s been tough on an optimist, but the dark clouds are beginning to thin. The bone-rattling thunderclaps of recession are giving way to the rolling thunder of a distant storm. There’s even some sun!

My first blog. I’ll admit it, I barely know what a blog is. It sounds like a place with alligators and snakes and Spanish moss. It’s not that I’m computer illiterate as much as Twitter tentative. But here I am. My name is Lenny, and I work in the Marketing Department.
