OFFICIAL RULES OF THE VANTAGE CREDIT UNION 2023 DREAM BIG CONTEST
NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
The Vantage Credit Union 2023 Dream Big Contest is open to all Vantage Credit Union (‘VCU’) members between the ages of 11-17 at the time of entry with a VCU account in his/her name as the primary member. VCU and subsidiary Board and Supervisory Committee members, staff and their immediate families are not eligible to win. The term "immediate family" includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as "in-laws" or by current marriage, adoption, or cohabitation, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related. Account must be open and in good standing, defined as having a positive deposit balance and no outstanding delinquencies of 30 days or more, at the time of the drawing to be eligible for entry. All potential winners are subject to verification before any prize will be awarded. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited. No purchase necessary to enter and/or win. If you are a parent or guardian of a child between the ages of 11-17, you may request an entry form by writing to Vantage Marketing, 19 Research Park Court, St. Charles, MO 63304. All entries must be received no later than October 15, 2023, to be eligible for the prize drawing. VCU assumes no responsibility for lost, mutilated, or misdirected entries.
Contest runs September 15 - October 15, 2023. Chance of winning depends on number of qualified entries received. To be eligible for entry into the contest, completed entry forms must accompany submissions (essay, picture, photo, video, etc. describing their dream for the future and how they would benefit from having a computer). Limit one (1) entry per person.
DRAWING: One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all qualified entries. Winner will be notified by phone no later than Friday, November 10, 2023. If the winner cannot be contacted or has not claimed the prize within ten (10) business days of notification, a runner-up will be selected and notified. Only one (1) alternate runner-up drawing will be held, after which the prize will remain un-awarded. All selections are final.
PRIZE: One (1) prize valued up to $1,000 toward the purchase of a personal computer and approved related supplies will be awarded. Winner may purchase the computer and approved supplies on their own and VCU will reimburse them up to $1,000 upon proof of purchase or they may make the purchase with assistance from a VCU representative. Acceptance of a prize constitutes authorization to use the winner’s first name and/or photograph in future credit union literature or articles for publication and/or social media without compensation. Parent or legal guardian of the winner must agree to submit an affidavit of eligibility. Prizes are nontransferable. The winner is responsible for any tax liability.
VCU reserves the right to revoke and/or substitute any or all prizes. VCU reserves the right to change the contest rules at any time without prior notice and reserves the right to disqualify any applicant who fails to comply with the rules.
VCU is not responsible: (1) for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest and drawing; (2) for technical and/or communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind; (3) for unauthorized human intervention in any part of the contest and drawing; (4) for technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the contest and drawing or the processing of entries; (5) for any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the contest and drawing or receipt or use or misuse of any prize; or (6) if the contest and drawing cannot take place or if any prize cannot be awarded due to acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism or any other circumstance beyond the control of VCU.
