Vantage Proudly Sponsors “A Place to Call Home”
No matter the uncertainties of this year, the importance of supporting our community has never waned. At Vantage, we’ve not only been involved in supporting local outreach—we’re increasing our support!
Vantage has been a proud supporter of the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition for over 20 years. This year, we’re coming alongside them to support their program entitled A Place to Call Home which airs on KDSK.
The vision of Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition (FACC) is “For Every Child… A Place To Call Home.” In pursuit of that aspiration, the organization provides safe and nurturing homes for children in foster care and a system of support for foster families which helps them provide for the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of children. FACC trains and coordinates volunteers, collects and distributes donations, and advocates for the security and health of children.
A Place to Call Home highlights some of the wonderful children seeking stable, permanent homes through interviews and testimonials. The profiles air on KSDK morning and afternoon news programs as well as Show Me St. Louis, a live weekday television program exhibiting events and people within the Greater St. Louis Metropolitan area.
The hope is that these segments will encourage more individuals to share their time, talent, and treasure—and maybe even a welcoming home—to support the children in need in our local community. A Place to Call Home features these inspiration stories of some amazing children, and it also describes some of the wonderful work of FACC and volunteers.
Vantage is proud to sponsor this programing. It allows us to visibly live the credit union philosophy of People Helping People, as well as remaining close to our roots in education by supporting children and the local community.
