Vantage Supports KidSmart and the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition with the Essential Tools Children Need for School

Vantage Credit Union is dedicated to helping students reach their educational goals by giving back through contributions of time, money and knowledge. To help St. Louis area students get the best possible start to the 2022 school year, Vantage employees supported KidSmart with school supply donations and volunteer time.

KidSmart’s mission is to empower children in need to succeed in school by providing free essential tools for learning, which is vital to the success of more than 90,000 underprivileged youth in 160+ schools in the St. Louis area.

Through the generosity of our members and employees, Vantage collected over 4,230 school supply items and 24 employees volunteered at the KidSmart warehouse for a total of 72 hours. Rooted in education, Vantage proudly supports KidSmart as they work to improve children’s access to quality education.

We also donated $1,000 to the Foster & Adoptive Care Coalition, to buy backpacks and school supplies for their back-to-school event. The organization’s vision is to ensure each child in foster care has an opportunity for a healthy, successful life by providing a support system for foster and adoptive families as they fulfill the physical, mental, and emotional needs of the children in their care.

Vantage has been an active member of our local community for nearly 65 years. From clothing and food drives, teacher appreciation events, school supply drives, holiday toy drives, secure document shredding events, a college scholarship program and more, Vantage delivers on our purpose — People Helping People.
