Vantage Announces Prize Winners of Winter Credit Card Drawing
As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Vantage invests any profit back into the credit union for our members. That means lower rates on loans, better interest, enhanced products, and occasionally simply rewarding members for being… themselves.
This past winter, that’s exactly what we did. Members who used their Vantage Mastercard® credit card for purchases during the offer dates were entered into a prize drawing for every $1,000 they spent. From all qualified entries, two $2,500 grand prize winners and three $500 first place winners were randomly selected. The prize amounts were applied to each winner's Vantage credit card balances—our way of thanking them for their membership and for using a credit card from the local community instead of a big-name national card.
Our members are often surprised at our rewards, as Mr. Seger claimed, “None of my friends believed me. I mean, I don’t normally win anything. When you called, I wasn’t sure whether to believe it.” Yet, it’s exactly that value of going above and beyond expectations that drives us. At Vantage, we take it seriously when we say that we care about our members.
For example, when Mr. Kramer arrived at the Twin Cities branch to receive his prize, he and his wife were immediately welcomed by name by both the staff in the lobby, as well as the branch manager. That little personal touch comes from our roots as a credit union intimately tied to our local community—it’s also a sign of the relationship that we develop with our members to help them succeed in their financial goals.
Congratulations to all our winners!
