Vantage makes an impact with school supply drive for KidSmart

Every child deserves the proper tools for school—and Vantage Credit Union is committed to making that possible. In August, Vantage collected new school supplies at all 13 branch locations, in addition to the headquarters, in support of KidSmart.

KidSmart is a local non-profit group focused on empowering kids in need to succeed in school by providing free essential tools for learning. More than 90,000 St. Louis area children cannot afford basic school supplies. To position these children for success, KidSmart equips 10,000 kids with $115,000 in free school supplies every week. 

Vantage members and staff generously donated more than 7,800 school supply items. Additionally, 15 employees volunteered a total of 45 hours at the KidSmart warehouse sorting donated supplies and inventorying product. 

Donations like this are vital to St. Louis-area organizations. We’re proud to support KidSmart, along with other area organizations, throughout the year. Together, our actions make an impact. Vantage is proud to embody our purpose—People Helping People.
